This was part of our time in Moab. Should have been published before Canyonlands but because of the difficulty I've been having posting it got out of place,
Arches NP
Another beautiful National Park. We arrived at 6:30 am and we were so happy that we left so early. As we were driving out of the park around noon, the park was closed and there were long lines of people waiting to get in. Arches only allows so many vehicles into the park at one time. They even have rangers at the parking areas making sure that people are only parking in designated areas. We were able to hike some of the trails.
Courthouse Towers
This is Balanced Rock as opposed to Balancing Rock in the Garden of the Gods
Your guess is as good as mine or maybe even better. Not sure if it's the North Window or the South Window but I know it's not the Turret Arch
This is what it looks like in a good picture
This is what we saw and ours was taken from the opposite side. Began the hike to see it but it was a little further than we thought so we took the best picture we could.
Took another hike into Sand Dunes Arch. The sand was so fine and about 6 inches deep and red, just like the rocks around us. There were kids with beach toys playing in the sand.
On our way to The Garden Arch, the longest arch in the park
The Garden Arch
And another interesting arch next to the Garden Arch
We really enjoyed are visit to Arches National Park.
